Social Login Trends Across the Web for Q4 2012

While social media users actively log into their accounts to update their statuses on Facebook, or share content within their circles via Google+, Americans also use this social media platforms to engage in secondary sites.

According to Janrain, 87% of people register on websites using the same social network or email identities. This process is also called “social login”. 

This technology allows users to have accounts on websites even without filling out forms. It bypasses signup forms using Facebook and other social networking sites.
